KREMMLING, Colorado // We had been in the saddle
for about an hour when we got our first glimpse
of the object of our search.

There, on the horizon, near Bill
Moore Lake with its reflective view of puffy
white clouds and blue sky, was a herd of about
165 cows, including some of the more ornery bulls
seen on the professional rodeo circuit.
We gave our horses free reins and with a kick of our heels and a shout of "Yeehaw!" we
began our morning's work.
This was a cattle drive.

trail rides are one of the many unique outdoor activities
that our state has to offer, and our ranch lies right
in the middle of a pristine, 10,000 acre plot of
open range. We have five full time wranglers on staff,
and a variety of part time cowboys and cowgirls who
have a long history of experience with cattle, horses
and ranching. We offer a variety of unique experiences
to accommodate any equine desires our guests might
have, from full and half day Colorado horseback rides
through the range, to genuine cattle drives, and
even team building exercises for your corporate retreat,
as well as an optional western lunch. As an example,
our “Saddle Paddle” will help you maximize
your vacation time by merging the best of the Colorado
horseback rides with that of whitewater rafting.
This adventure package gives you the chance to spend
a beautiful morning riding our horses on the trail,
followed by an afternoon with our friends from KODI
Rafting as you wash the dust of the trail off while
rafting a beautiful stretch of the famous Colorado
River.
